Position: Systematic Theology Faculty
Description: Teach classes about 10-12 hours per semester at the seminary; Be well-prepared to teach each assigned course by thorough course planning and preparation; Be available to give effective guidance to students, particularly to those assigned as advisees or enrolled in one’s classes; Maintain office hours of at least six hours per week while school is in session; Return assignments in a timely fashion, giving painstaking and fair review and evaluation of student work; Do assessment according to accreditation standards; Fulfill the responsibilities within the guidelines of the Seminary catalog; Turn in grades within three weeks after the end of the semester; Maintain records of completed assignments and final grades after the end of the semester; Attend all faculty meetings; Contribute, especially in one’s discipline, to the church; Grow as a scholar and instructor, and in familiarity with current developments in one’s field; Share in administrative duties as recommended by the Academic Dean; Participate in relevant professional societies; Teach and speak at conferences and in congregations; Research and write on theological issues facing the church as it lives out its calling.
