Student Stories
LBS helps students think critically about theology and, just as importantly, LBS helps students apply that theology in practical settings. Since attending LBS, my teaching has greatly improved as I have gained a solid, biblical foundation that I can draw from… LBS doesn’t just teach the Bible, it teaches us how to live in the Bible.
I am so thankful for how God has opened His Word to me during my time in classes at LBS! From assignments to simple encouragement, my desire to be a lifelong learner of the Bible and our God has only grown! The preparation that seminary gives you as you go into ministry is so incredibly valuable.
Coursework and classroom discussion with professors and classmates have resulted in new ways to think about past theological discussions and how to effectively bring the gospel to those around us today. These building blocks are as necessary now as ever before as my wife and I consider our part in the Great Commission.
