WM 790 Islam in America and Around the World    2 credits

What do nearly one billion (1/5 of the world’s people) believe about God? Christians? The Bible? Why should you know? Islam is more than a religion; it is a way of life. Muslims may be the second largest religious group in the U.S. Wherever one goes these days, Islam is demanding attention. The face of Islam is changing, and it will affect our communities and country significantly in the next decade. This course will inform you about Islam, its history and beliefs, what the Koran says and most importantly, practical ways you can share your faith with a Muslim.

WM 957 Practical Experience in Cross Cultural Ministry      1-2 credits

This course will give students supervised extensive, documented ministry experience in a cross cultural ministry environment. The experience must be approved and sponsored by the professor of mission and evangelism. The student will, with the professor, determine the academic goals for the experience and decide how these goals will be met and demonstrated. Credits are determined depending on the length of experience and the extent of academic work completed.
