HT 715 Church History 3 credits

This course is a study of the history of the Christian Church and its contexts from the Apostolic era through the Reformation and the Age of Enlightenment, tracing its development with particular emphasis on the individuals, groups, institutions, patterns of thought, events and ideas that have shaped the Church.  Attention is also given to the various structures and forms utilized by the Church as it participates in God’s mission in the world.
